Bournville Architects is the architectural division of Bournville Village Trust, the charity founded by George Cadbury, the Chocolate maker, in 1900 to manage his housing estate in Birmingham. We are a registered architectural practice offering services both to the Bournville Village Trust Group and to outside clients, the latter accounting for some 60% of our fee turnover. Our fee income has grown steadily over the last four years and our turnover for 2005 was in excess of £700,000. We operate throughout the United Kingdom having undertaken individual projects in the North East of England, Liverpool, Humberside, the Home Counties, London and Gloucestershire as well as the East and West Midlands.

We are a registered Architectural Practice with the RIBA and ARB. We are also registered with Constructionline and with the Estates Business Agency in Coventry

Bournville Village Trust is a Preferred Partner of the City of Birmingham for new development and housing management opportunities in selected areas of the City.
Production of drawings and technical documentation is fully computerised using Autocad, technical databases and Microsoft Office, as well as a business management system, which enables us to offer a fully integrated service to our clients and other members of the design team.

We also operate a Quality Management System complying with ISO 9001:2000.
